Railroad Contractors Wildfire Training

Whether your employees are deployed on Fire Patrol behind Rail Grinding Operations, or working in a high risk fire environment, this 2 day expanded Alberta Wildfire Orientation Training will meet or exceed (S 100 equivalent) standards including; manuals, videos, lectures, practical exercises, and certificates.

Our two day course content will include the following modules:

·Basic fireline orientation, including general fireline organization, intro to ICS, and terminology

·Wildfire safety awareness, prevention, hazard identification, L.A.C.E.S, and fire Entrapment.

·Wildfire containment, methods of attack, phases of operation and extinguishment

·Railside use of hand tools, pumps, hose, nozzles and Foam Equipment

·Large scale fires using heavy equipment, Helicopters, and air tankers

·Values at risk and structure protection lecture and practical labs

·Radios, and communication systems

We will supply the following:

·         1 senior Instructor and classroom (Cost vary based on season & Instructor Availability)  

·         Fire pumps, hose and foam equipment @ 400.00 per course 

·         Student pkgs. and classroom supplies @ 25.00 per student 

·         Lunch, beverage provided on site @ 100.00 per meal x 2 days = 200.00
